Terms and Conditions:

  1. Empower Studio makes every possible effort to deliver classes and private services on time as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change or cancellation without notice, due in part or in full, to any or all circumstances, whether expected/anticipated or otherwise. Empower Studio is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes or appointments that are late, changed, full or cancelled for any reason. Furthermore, Empower Studio reserves the right to temporarily reduce/alter and/or cease it’s service(s) at any time during any calendar year. Under normal operation, this pertains to any or all NZ stat days, Christmas and Easter holiday periods, environmental/health and/or any other unexpected events.
  2. Please, reserve your place in class a minimum of 24 hours before class start time. This can be done directly via the timetable on our WEBSITE or via the MINDBODY app. Classes have a limited number of participants and no availability guarantees can be given. If no spaces are immediately available, a limited number of participants are able to join a reserve list. We operate a 2-hour early cancellation window for those who unexpectedly cannot attend. Standard class charges may apply to all casual members if the early cancellation window is not adhered to.
  3. All Memberships and 10 class passes allow the owner access to all standard weekly classes. This excludes; guest teachers, workshops, retreats or other special events.
  4. All classes and memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be shared.
  5. All new memberships at Empower Studio are activated on the day of purchase unless specified otherwise, i.e.; during promotional offers. All D/D memberships allow for one four-week suspension period within any given twelve months. This includes any time Empower Studio is closed over the Christmas period. A $15 administration fee is charged each time a membership is put on hold. Speak to us in our studio to enable this facility a minimum of 10 days before your next billing cycle. All D/D membership terms and conditions, pertaining to and of which the client is liable for are also provided by the banking service provider during the sale process. Please refer to your point of sale contract for more detailed information.
  6. 10 class passes are valid for 3 months and are enabled on the day of purchase unless specified otherwise, ie; during promotional offers. Please take note of the expiration date, clients assume the responsibility for their pass validity and can always enquire at reception or via email at; info@empowerstudio.co.nz to verify if unsure.
  7. 10 class passes may be extended for medical reasons only. It is the clients’ responsibility to notify the studio in writing via email at; info@empowerstudio.co.nz at the time of illness/injury, and if necessary a letter from the doctor or physician may be requested. 1-month membership purchases are not extendable.
  8. All workshops and special events are non-refundable but are transferable with prior notification of 1 day before the event.
  9. All D/D memberships will continue on a monthly/weekly/fortnightly recurring basis and enable the user full and complete access to the services pertained to in their contract, at the point of sale. Membership is ongoing and will remain so unless stipulated and/or terminated in writing via email or otherwise by Empower Studio (with no prior warning) and/or at the request of the client (contract owner). All or any membership termination notifications which are given to Empower Studio by the client are to be done with a minimum of 10 days prior to requested cancellation date. Any monies scheduled to be paid during the 10 day cancellation period will be debited according to the agreed contract at the point of sale.
  10. All annual memberships are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of sale unless specified otherwise, i.e. during promotional offers. Refunds or transfers are not permitted under any circumstances.
  11. All private appointment schedules are to be adhered to wherever reasonably possible. Calendar invites will be sent via email prior to every appointment for the client to accept (unless the client wishes not to give out their email address). Only upon acceptance of the invite via the calendar or in writing (in the event of no email) will the appointment be confirmed and deemed valid. In the event of a private appointment reschedule/cancellation then the following applies; rescheduling/cancellation of all private appointments (prepaid or otherwise) is to be made a minimum of 24hrs prior to scheduled visit. In such cases, the appointment will by rescheduled at no extra cost at the nearest convenience to Empower Studio’s availability. Please note, we cannot guarantee to reappoint within the same calendar week. Should the appointee not adhere to and reschedule/cancel outside of these terms and conditions of usage they will forfeit their private appointment and will be charged according to the value of the service as dictated at the point of sale.

Studio Etiquette:

  1. Please book in at reception, prior to class starting.
  2. All classes will start and end on time. In the interest of fairness to all class participants, access is not available once class has begun.
  3. Please be prompt by arriving 10 minutes before class starts and stay until your teacher signals the end of class.
  4. Please store all your personal items in the pigeon holes provided in the changing rooms before class starts. The changing rooms are locked at the beginning of class and reopened at the end by the class teacher.
  5. Empower Studio admits no liability in the case of misplaced/stolen belongings. Owners store their personal items in the changing rooms at their own risk.
  6. Please turn off or silence ALL cell phones, tablets, or other electronic devices and leave them in the changing room during class. No exceptions.
  7. If you arrive while an earlier class is still in session, please wait quietly in reception..
  8. Only water is allowed on the studio floor. No other food or beverages and no footware is to be worn.
  9. Please put your props away after class.
  10. Be mindful of your fellow practitioners by practising good hygiene and wearing clothing and/or undergarments that limit the risk of personal exposure.
